What this test tells you

Tested on October 21, 2026. Local: Tesseract.js 7 in Node.js with the same bundled English best_int language data used by our browser. AI: Replicate datalab-to/marker, balanced mode, one page, image extraction disabled. Timings include worker startup locally, and upload plus polling for AI; they are not browser speed comparisons. AI was tested directly against the provider, independently of checkout and API plan permissions.

These clean English fixtures do not measure multilingual, handwriting, damaged scans, or production accuracy. We did not test competing websites, and do not claim to outperform them. Check the full text, not a confidence score: confidence is not measured accuracy.
